A Journey With God Through Poetry

The Hidden Beauty

There is a hidden beauty within you. You are not here by mere coincidence, but by divine timing and purpose.
God has a plan especially for you, and He chose this weekend to reveal it to you. There is a hidden beauty if only you knew, it is why you were created for what awaits you. Everything God has promised is waiting for you. His provision and His blessings, His strength and victory. His peace and rest are just a few. You were created in His image, created to worship and to be in a relationship, but you have to choose. Because God already chose you and gentiles too. This is the time He has chosen to reveal it to you- The Hidden Beauty is Christ who dwells in you. May this hidden beauty within you shine for all to see and bring hope of future glory.

Devotional
I used to live life at a frantic pace, constantly trying to cram everything into a box. I was losing precious time with family and friends, always in a rush that led to a meaningless existence. Then, in 1999, a heart condition diagnosis forced me to slow down. This was incredibly difficult, especially with a career that demanded long hours and spontaneous travel. I had to retire from my job, and it was hard because I felt too young for retirement. I was restless, so I decided to go back to college for a new career. That, too, proved to be a mistake. It was just as intense as my previous job and began affecting my health. Yet, there was this inner voice, a quiet whisper I couldn't quite understand. A few years later, I was reunited with an old friend from my neighborhood, who invited me to church. That day, my life changed. When I invited Jesus into my life, I finally understood: that inner voice had been leading me to Him all along. As I continued attending church, I felt His presence, and He ignited a thirst within me to seek His Word and live by it. Now, I feel His love and strength, especially during moments of sadness. He reads my heart when I'm struggling with a decision, guiding me toward the right path. But more importantly, I reflect on how He died for me so I could live forever. This understanding compels me to do more, to be active in church through various ministries, particularly the children's ministries, which are so important to Him. Most of all, I want to spend more time with Him, deepening our connection.
